Adults on camping trips

This may have been covered in the discussion about adult supervision on
overnight campouts and I just missed it. If so my apologies for buning
bandwidth.
The second paragraph on Page 541 of my edition (Tenth Edition, Second
printing; Copyright 1990) of the _Boy Scout Handbook_ describing patrol
activities sez:
"Your patrol will also have plenty of outdoor fun. With your
Scoutmaster's approval you can head out on day hikes and overnight
campouts. Your patrol leader may have the training and experience to
lead those outings on his own, or your patrol may be accompanied by
several troop leaders or parents of patrol members"
Yours in the spirit of Scouting,
Dan O'Canna [ocanna@alpha.caer.uky.edu] Lexington, Kentucky USA
