Mike gave a great answer, but the Central Region seems to have adopted
a slightly different scheme.
I attended C-27-94 (and a good ole owl too).
That is C for Central, 27 for the 27th course in the Central region,
94, for 1994. I have seen a couple of other course pictures and they
had course numbers that followed the same scheme.
