(Re)introduction

Greetings Scouters!

I was a subscriber to this list several years ago, but dropped my subscription
when the volume of mail began to interfere with my work. Now that I have a
separate account for reading personal mail at home, I'm back. Judging from my
first day back on the list, I can see that the volume is as strong as it ever
was. It's also good to see that some familiar names are still here... it's
like coming home again!

My scouting history: As a youth, I was a Cub Scout, Webelos, and Scout in
Chelmsford and Dunstable, Massacusetts (Greater Lowell Council). I'm a Vigil
member of Wannalancit Lodge #451. I reached Eagle in 1984. During college, I
was actively involved with Alpha Phi Omega for five years, and am now a Life
Member. Since graduating college, I've served as an ASM for two troops, one in
Bellevue, Washington (Chief Seattle Council), and one in Everett, Washington
(Evergreen Area Council -- since merged into Mount Baker Council). I have been
"in retirement" for nearly two years, and am just about to reactivate myself,
as soon as I link up with a troop in my new locale.

It's good to be back!

Yours in Scouting,
John Elsbree
