Dave and the group:
My son's Wolf book has a copyright of 1986 it includes the traditional story
of Akela and Mowgli, Tabaqui the jackal, Father Wolf anf Shere Khan the
tiger, Baloo and Bagheera. It ends with Mowgli joining the Seeonee Wolf
Pack.
The Bear Book has a copyright of 1984 and includes the story of how Baloo
taught Mowgli the Law of the Pack.
Interestingly enough, I also have at the house a Wolf book purchased 2
or 3 years ago. It has the Youth Protection material in booklet form in
the front of the book as the newer ones do, but does not contain the 8th
Bobcat Requirement which centers on that Youth Protection material. The
copyright is the same,, 1986?? This caused some confusion when I was
checking books because 2 of my boys are using their older brother's books.
