Yep, I CONSTANTLY get e-mail, and connectivity, with AOL. I'd say that 9
times of 10 I am unable to connect to the high-speed access numbers for AOL,
and have to connect at lower speeds on my secondary number.
I'm getting tired of it. I am in the process of checking out other net
access programs and packages and WILL be stopping AOL within the next month
or so. You can get better deals if you go straight to the web and not
through an on-line service. I'm not using much of the on-line stuff anyway,
most of what I do is e-mail and visiting web sites.
Compuserve doesn't seem to have as many problems as AOL, but then I don't use
the e-mail much there, just the browser. Again, don't use the services very
much at all.
Well, don't mean to sound so negative, but that's been my experience. I do
get tired of the "Sorry, please bear with us" messages.
