This is clear, but seems to conflict with the BSA Youth Protection Policies that
just as clearly and explictily states that "All aspects of the Scouting program
are open to observation by parents and leaders." Would not the BSA Youth
Protection Policy override the advancement policy/procedure/guideline? (I not
quite sure of it's status.)
I tell new parents that nothing will be hidden from them. They may be required
to be wall flowers at some events, but they are welcome to attend and observe.
When I make this statement, I expect to be telling the truth. Am I? Should I
modify my statement in some way?
