Simple. The Senior Patrol Leader and Assistant Senior Patrol Leader are NOT
members of a patrol. They sleep together in a tent close to both youth and
adults.
The Troop Guide sleeps with either the Patrol Leader or Assistant Patrol
Leader or
another Scout with that Patrol. The Guide works with and should be a part
of everything that Patrol does for his tenure (or until the Patrol gets on
their feet and operating without his help).

The Senior Patrol Leader and Assistant in my Troops always served (as well
as an Assistant Scoutmaster or myself on a rotating basis) as "guests" and
therefore didn't have to worry about cooking meals. In one of my Troops,
because it was tradition, the
adults all cooked meals and the Senior Patrol Leader and his Assistant ate
with the adults.
The Troop Guide assists the Patrol Leader with the operation of the Patrol;
therefore, he'd BETTER be a part of the planning and serving of the meals
and everything else with that Patrol. He's a member of that Patrol, so yes,
this includes cleanup, setup, and teardown.
