I am conducting a contest. I have a ample supply of "PONY EXPRESS
CAMPOREE" patches and will give a few of these to the winners of this
contest.
Purpose: I want to know what the most popular patrol names are, if they
use stock or custom patches and also find out what creative names
have been used and what they stand for. I want to find out once and
for all if a "NOT TO BE NAMED HERE" patrol is really the most popular
name used. I won't give you the name since I don't want to skew the
results.
Example: I know a patrol called the Slug Patrol. It stands for "SIX LUCKY
UNIQUE GUYS", and my sons patrol name is the "BLACKHAWK
PATROL".
Rules: 1. Send me a private E-Mail to Blayden@WordPerfect.com
2. Give me the actual names of every patrol in your unit, and describe
what the patrol name means or stands for if it is not obvious. If you
want to include other patrol names form past patrols, please do so. No
Woodbadge Patrols please.
3. Tell me what patrol patch you are using for that patrol name. If a
custom patch has been used, please describe it.
4. Include your troop number, city, state and snail mail address so I can
send you a patch if you are a winner.
I have 10-15 patches that I will award. It's a pretty cool looking patch
and the winners will enjoy adding it to their patch collections. I will look
for the most popular, most creative, best custom patch design, etc.
Thanks, Blayden
