I have read Mike Montoya's posting and some of the reply that it generated
and would like to put in my two cents.
Like on a job performance evaluation a time period should be stated. This
time period should be agreed upon between the SM and the Scout. Since we are
talking scout age boys, conferences every three months should be arranged to
review progress. Because a plan was developed I find that this will usually
keep the parents off the SM back.
