When our son was in Cubs, we had the opposite situation: the kid was a
haloed cherub when either parent was around and Lucifer on rollerskates
otherwise. It quite literally had to be seen to be believed, and even
then one wanted to clean one's glasses, just to be sure.
Still, it doesn't sound to me as if this boy is interested in meeting
Dad's "Both my sons are Eagle Scouts" goal.
Just my opinion and I've been wrong before.
