(Finally!) Square Knots WWW page

Mike Walton ("Settummanque)

Well gang...It's done for now, and I cannot guarantee how long it will stay
at this site.

In talking with my boss yesterday, he couldn't assure me that our server
we've been waiting on will get here before Christmas. I'm NOT happy right
now, so I think I'd better leave that as it is. The only reason why I bring
this up is because I had been told that one of the reasons why I was hired
was because they believed in what I was doing with "my spare time". Now,
there's a different story, and....

I am proud to show off my first REAL effort in creating a World Wide Web page.
Everything there is NOT 100 percent complete, but hopefully over the next
three weeks, things will come into place and I'll be able to at least get
the framework set up for visits.

The "Unofficial Square Knot Page" is located at the following address:

http://alpha.comsource.net:8080/~mwalton/knoindex.htm

It has full-color scans of MOST of the BSA's square knots, some square knots
which are NOT BSA issue, and descriptions on how to wear them and where to
wear them on the field uniform. You will quickly see that there's a lot of
gaps to be filled, and I expect a lot of honest critisms from those
experienced Webmasters as well as those just visiting.

I've turned off the Cardinal Council stuff for right now, because I'm not
ready with most of the stuff there....I'm most proud of that, and as you
will see either in late December or early Janurary, I think you will be too.

To access the Blackeagle Services home page, which serves as the "cover" for
everything that eventually Jessi and I will be placing there, set your
browsers to:

http://alpha.comsource.net:8080/~mwalton/home.htm

I thank everyone in advance for their patience, and hopefully I'll have the
resources which was promised to me.

Settummanque!@HEY! How *good* is a emailed "letter of offer" anyways?
