For those of you who are interested in learning more about Scouting
in the Czech Republic, I've added a second page to the one I
announced a couple of days ago. This one includes cartoon
illustrations of Scouting activities that are certain to bring
memories of your own Scouting career back to you in a rush. While
they are memories of a particular Group, they are quite universal to
Scouting everywhere.
Again, the URL is
http://www.win.net/~gws/gaelwolf/czech1.htm
The pages are graphics intensive, with lots of JPG images, but I have
placed the page on what I feel is the fastest server available. The
response times are very good, and this appears to hold true in
Europe, as well as in North America. They are, however, optimised for
use with Netscape browsers. If you are using another browser, and
would like to see the difference, Netscape has a VERY liberal
download and use policy that you might like to check out.
I've received some responses from folks about how well they liked the
first page, and am still interested in knowing whether this method of
presenting Scouting tickles your fancy.
