Rodger:

Here at West Georgia College, like most colleges and universities, BSA
stands for Black Student Alliance. For over a year I would walk up to
students wearing BSA on their shirts and ask them what they are doing in
Scouting! Like anything else (flags, symbols or letters), we attach
meaning to those icons. We in Scouting are very aware of BSA and the
meaning that it carries to us. Use of the letters by others not in
Scouting probably never occurs to them the meaning conveyed to those in
Scouting. I found this out more than once with the members of the Black
Student Alliance!

Good luck and best wishes in Scouting.
