This isn't the case. What he is saying is that a few homosexuals in this
nation are vocal and the rest don't vote and henceforth they don't deserve to
belong in the BSA, GSUSA or anyother organization that promotes "sound
morals". The issue of the vocalness of any group or wheather they vote has
nothing to do with these people joining the scouting movement. The scouting
program was intended to prepare the youth to face the world. In the world
there are homosexuals. The issue of voting has nothing to do with it for one
simple reason, have any of you seen a person under 18 vote? This is a youth
movement that we are talking about.

That settles it for me. Any organization admitting or otherwise
encouraging homosexuality is certainly NOT "Reverent" as far as I can see.

There is nothing that says that the scouts must follow the bible. All that
the requirements say is that the scouts must believe in a higher being. It
is still possible for homosexuals to be members of churches, thus being
reverent.
In summary, All that I have seen in these two posts that I'm responding to is
homophobia, that clearly has no place in scouting or today's society.
