Adult religous awards (esp Catholic)

While at my recent Wood Badge course, one topic keyed
a interresting side discussion. The main topic was
"setting the example", ie adults wearing FULL uniforms,
and living by the Scout Oath and Law. Also, that adults
should wear the religious award knots, if earned.
HOWEVER, a key point was that Adults who were not
scouts as a youth, or did not earn the award have
a problem. At least if you are Catholic. There
is no award program for Catholic adults! There
is an adult award that you can be nominated for,
like the Silver beaver, etc., but no set program.
SO, how about we all start a "GRASS ROOTS" petition
to get an Adult award program started for Catholics?
OR, how about any other faith, that does not have
an adult award as well?
Scouter Don Izard,
I used to be an Owl, always an Eagle, and RELIGOUS AWARDS counselor (AAD R.C.)
