Camp Anecdotes?

Does anyone have a humorous story to share about the Scout who came to camp
unprepared?
Our Group Committee is preparing the first issue of their newsletter, and would
like to include an article about the importance of a kit list.
In our Group, we have many parents who "know better than the leaders" and send
their child to camp with no raingear, or worse yet, to a winter camp with only
one pair of mittens, and rubber boots!
^^^^^^
We don't want the article to come across as a lecture, but we do want to
emphasize the point!!!
