Finding North with a Watch

Please bear in mind, as you find North with your analog watches, that
'noon' means 'solar noon', not 'standard time noon'. Remember, that
with standard time zones, you can be off by a whole hour just by
stepping across a time zone boundary line. So use this North-seeking
method as a guide and approximation, only. [Soon, this will all be
moot, since we will bring our GPS receivers, instead..]
