No, we try to have meetings after supper 7-9PM or before supper 5-6:30PM.
Feeding teenagers is very expensive, especially junk food. The troops I
work with don't want to carry that kind of expense.
However, when there are new scouts that need some demos on dutch oven,
reflector, chef kit, etc. The troops will set up and provide materials.
> 2. How much food is consumed during a troop meeting?
None
> 3. What snacks are consumed?
The kids will bring in soda, chips, cookies from the local store.
> 4. How many times you meet?
Weekly, exceptions for vacation periods. One troop takes school breaks off,
runs about 40-42 weeks a year. The other troop is a 50 weeks per year and
has a lot more fun.,
