Re: Eagles easier now?

Easier/Harder? We are all individuals and we will all disagree on this one
for years to come. Please read the quote below my E-mail address and think
about it. This is not a retrospect thought, I beleived it BEFORE I
FINISHED MY EAGLE.

RE: Time/work required for the Eagle Project by National. They are quite
specific on this one. In the Advancment Guidelines (quoteing from memory,
so you will not find these exact words, but you will find their meaning).

The project should envolved sufficient work for the Eagle Candidate to
demonstrate leadership. Think about this one and at the same time, think
about all the Eagle scouts you have known. If you know two who are exactly
alike (even twins differ a little) I would be amazed!

The requirments for Eagle are mostly trivial. Doing them is what is
significant, because most people never finish what they start.
