Joe Onorato (Joe_Onorato@LSRHS.LINSUD.K12.MA.US)

Before I share this, I would like to introduce myself.

My Name is Joe Onorato, my Internet address is
Joe_Onorato@lsrhs.linsud.k12.ma.us (which is my high school) I will be a
junior in High School next year...
I was a SPL last year of Troop 61, Sudbury, Massachusetts. I have retired
from SPL to work on my Eagle project and school. I have been to Philmont in
1993 and I am gioing again this August. My crew number is 807-F3, so if you
see me, say hi. I was recently inducted into OA (Taunkacoo Lodge in the
Algonquin Council). I could say more, but that gives a pretty good picture of
me.

Now what I really had to say:

At Parker Mountain (the Summer Camp that my troop attends), the Program
Director has taken to calling his announcements "statements" because of the
wonderful song that can be "sung."

So the camp has this other interuption.

Usually on Monday of the week we are there, one of the staff members leads
the mess hall in a rendition of "Old MacDonald." Each segment of the mess
hall is given an animal (eg. duck - quack quack, dog - woof woof, pig - oink
oink, cow - moo moo) and as their part of the song comes around, they "sing"
out their animal.

This is all well and good, until they try to stop, and it doesn't stop.

Then during the following meals for the remainder of the week, one group
chimes in with their animal and it goes from there....
