Announcing an Eagle!

That old saw about "an hour a week" is really "an hour a night," and then
some. Last Monday was the SM planning meeting; Tuesday was the PLC;
Wednesday was a Board of Review; Thursday was the Troop meeting; Friday we
left for the Council Camporee; and Sunday we returned home. Weeks like this
aren't frequent. (My wife says, "I don't know about that!")
I've been so busy that I haven't shared the news with my Scout-L friends.
That Board of Review last Wednesday was for my younger son Grant who passed
and is waiting for his Eagle credentials to return from National. Mom and I
are obviously proud of him, especially because he found his niche in Scouting
and prospered.
