Re: A helpful hint for small mailboxes! :)

Chuck Bramlet a had these two hints:

>With that in mind, I would like to pass on two possible solutions that
>I have run across in my net-surfing.
>
>Solution 1:
>For those who don't have as limited a mail quota, there is the digest
>mode.

>Solution 2:
>For those who (a) have a very limited mail quota; (b) are _very_ concerned
>about the amount of mail that _they_ receive (and the provider charges); or
>(c) have a _very_ limited area of interest, there is the "index" mode.

To which I'd like to add:

Solution 3:
Subscribe from either a BBS where you can use an offline reader (I have some
recommendations if anyone is interested) or use a POP mail reader such as
Eudora or Pegasus. Eudora or Pegasus will automatically log on to the POP
server and move the mail from the server to your PC or MAC. It does it on a
clock and can be left running overnight to keep your mailbox empty.
