>Pins? You got pins? This would make people notice. Was this done by
>your service unit or council? I think even ribbons would be neat.
Our council suggested making pins from copies of a tag that was put out on the
flyer about Be Your Best Day. But then after *lots* of complaints about
the tag, they came back with ribbons (with suggested color). So our SU
gave out samples of the suggested color of ribbon so that troops could make
pins from them. Our troop enjoyed making the ribbons, I don't think many of
them remembered to wear them (we meet Thursdays). How do you get 3rd graders
to remember things beyond 10 minutes? :) I did hear an announcement on
a local radio station about Be Your Best Day, and I know that a letter was
going out to the Mayor, but I don't think we got any support from him.
