Accomodations in UK in August

This message is for those of you in the UK.

I am coming to Edinburgh in August to play
at the Edinburgh Festival (& see the Tattoo).
I am a member of a bagpipe band from New Jersey
that is playing in the mass bands on August 20.
Following that, I am taking my family on a motor tour
of some areas of Scotland and England.

I plan on using Bed & Breakfast, however, if there
are some Scout Camps (with cabins) that might be
scattered about a route from Edinburgh to York to London
or out in Cornwall, I would like to know.

In the States, many of the Scout camps have what is
called "Family Camping" allowing Scouting families
to "camp" at a local Scout camp for vastly reduced fees.
I would like to know if there are such programs in the UK.

I will have my wife, daughter (age 14), and 2 sons (age 13/10)
with me.

I am going to try to contact the B-P House in London, but I
understand that it is booked far in advance. And, of course,
I am going to visit Gilwell, but I do not know if they
have accomodations there.

Any help would be appreciated.
