2nd World CyberSpace Jamboree needs your support

Lucas James (jj@LDJPC.APANA.ORG.AU)

Unforunately, due to political problems (BSA), we cannot hold the 2nd
World CyberSpace Jamboree at the 18th World Jamboree in Holland. :(

The only way we can run this event (and allow people on the net to
join in) is if you, your scouts/guides etc want this to go ahead.

Please, if you want to help us get this event to the World Jamboree,
please ask your Contingent Leader/Jamboree Director know that you want this
event to go ahead. Ask him/her to pass on the request to the WJ people in
Holland.

If you want to know more about the CyberSpace Jamboree, PLEASE email
me at jj@ldjpc.apana.org.au.

It is basically a hookup where a lot (the 1st World CyberSpace
Jamboree that was held at the 17th Australian Jamboree in Perth had a
minimum of 300 terminals connected) of scouters talk to each other via a
computer network.
