And this is why we insist that adult leaders get training. :)
Sorry, just had to get that plug in. But seriously--if you know a leader
who keeps avoiding getting trained because it takes too much time, you
might point out that in the long run, he might be glad he spent the
weekend(s) learning what he can and can't do with the youth...In my
considered opinion, it's far cheaper to take 2 weekends getting basic
training than it would be to get sued and lose everything because I
was ignorant of national BSA policies.
