Susan,
BRAVO, for your line of thinking. However, I dare say that it is the very
few if any youth organizations, churchs, PTA, PTO's etc. that would provide
coverage for "approved" activities such as the coverage of the BSA.
I realize all of us a fearful in this time of litigation. But, thank
goodness for the forsight and the wisdom the BSA as you so eliquently
expressed does provide insurance on an excess basis for volunteers and pro
staff.
I don't seriously if any church youth group could extend the same coverage to
their "volunteers". So and not saying that you have by any means. Why if
the masses of volunteers have support like this do they kick it around like a
dying horse and complain. It is there to help and to be understood.
