Regarding National Flags:
This summer I was presented with this problem while working as a councelor at a
Siberian Scout Association Scout Camp, although we only raised the flag once on
the first day (it rained almost every day after that), I chose to stand at
attention rather than salute as a sign of respect for the Russian National
Colors. I didn't offend anyone, and everyone seemed to think it appropriate.
