Bike Rally

One of our feeder packs, Pack 30 of Berkeley, held a community bike rally last
summer (a year ago). Mostly it was based on the Bicycling Sports book, but we
did have the Berkeley Police there to do bike inspections and licensing (for
the day, they waived the usual fee -- thanks, guys!). It was widely publicized
in the community and many people dropped by. All kids participating got a
patch, and any registered Cub Scout got a belt loop. Some of our Boy Scouts
were invited to run the first aid station, but nary a scraped knee/knuckle
to deal with.
