A Personal Update

Hi everyone. I enjoyed meeting so many of you at NOAC and I look
forward to the next time. This note is simply to notify friends that
I have not received any SCOUTS-L mail since before NOAC and I won't
until the end of August or after labor day. I have too many things going
on to sort through the volume of SCOUTS-L mail (a topic of discussion
at NOAC -- before and after Mike and Jessi left ;-) ). I am steping
down as department head, changing offices, trying to get part-time
faculty hired before school starts, going Whitewater rafting with the
troop as part of a 7 day high-adventure, and ....

So if you have sent SCOUTS-L a message you had hoped I would respond to
its probably because I didn't get it. You can continue to reach me
via private e-mail.

NOAC was great and I may have a lot to tell later in September or October.
