Hello fellow scouters...
Serious but at first glance probably an odd question. Can anyone give me the
"official" ruling when a boy can no longer work on Cub Scout advancement?
I know all the criteria for Troop membership -- age, grade, or AOL -- but is
there an age, or grade at which he can no longer work on the AOL, but must
joint a troop? I have a boy in my Webelos Den who joined very late -- January
this year -- has earned Bobcat, Webelos and some of the work toward his AOL.
He wants to continue working through the summer to get the AOL before he joins
the Boy Scout Troop. Is he limited in some way? Any "official" thoughts?
Yours in Scouting
