Hi Fellow Scouters,
A friend of mine posed a question to me a few days ago about what effort if any
was being done in helping the Bosnian (and Croatian?) refugees in detainment
camps in Hungary (along the border)- He specifically asked if any attempt at
establishing scout units has been formed. I realize that the issue of the
Displaced persons in Scouting is ancient and that Displaced persons Scouting
hasn't been officially recognized by WOSM since 196? unless they are under the
auspices of the scouting organization's country in which they are presently
staying, So I guess my question is best directed at European Scouts, Hey geys
(gals) any idea? Is the Scouting organization in Hungary taking an interest or
is anyting being done?
