Hi all
I feel a little like someone on a course who has to stand up in front of 40
people I've never seen and say who they are. Yuch! Anyway...here's my intro
Name: Brian Moretta
Age: 27
Scouting history: cub, scout, venture scout, university scout & guide club,
and now Assistant Venture Scout Leader (though I haven't ever had anyone
to be assistant to) with 71st Haymarket (Edinburgh) (5.5 years and climbing.)
Awards: not as many as I wanted, but maybe more than I deserved.
Hobbies (excluding scouting): mountaineering, chess, tai-chi, reading, music
(listening & playing.) Have tried most things I can think of and want to do
(except parachuting.)
Job (excluding scouting): Lecturer (temporary) in actuarial maths (but my PhD
will be in statistics, hopefully) at Heriot-Watt university, Edinburgh.
