When my son and I were diagnosed ADD/ADHD the MD did tests to check for other
possible physical causes of the symptoms, we also both saw a PSY DR to rule
out depression etc.

To paraphrase a PSY DR I heard answer this question,

Anybody who sits hooked up to an EEG machine an hour or so a day is going to
start behaving differently.

He also made the point that the only study he had seen only involved ~10 kids
and was a short term study. Of course he is conservative in alot of his views,
I have dealt with him for many years and never heard him blame anything on if
or how long you were nursed (not bottle fed).
