I agree in part with Patrick Skelly's remarks. I definately dislike long
requotes. Long graphic signatures are a waste (just tell me who you are, where
you are and your email address).
But, holding postings over 60 lines for a day would just mean that I get two
59 line messages (total 118 lines) rather than one good 65 line message!
I enjoy the somewhat chatty nature of the list. I enjoy the discussion.
I do not enjoy the pronouncements of "rules" which, in fact, represent only
the opinion of the poster and are not supported with an appropriate citation.
I appreciate someone saying something line from page _ of the SM Handbook . . .
I do not enjoy the replies to the list that should be sent to individuals.
Just my thoughts, FWIW
