Matt and John,
I agree it does take a lot of courage, and perserverence to get
through ADD Attention Deficit Disorder or ADHD Attention Deficift
Hyperactive Disorder and thus the commendation for sharing your personal
experience. My experience with Chris the boy in know who took ritalin,
until his mom and dad said "No more!" took him out of school and home
schooled him for a time because of 'Turrett's Syndrome' Chris didn't have
the verbal profanity problem which can occur he developed a nervous tick
where he would snap his head to the side affecting his attention in a new
way. His parents feared this was a side effect they could not live with and
with drew from treatment. He has also out grown most of his ADD but the
tick is a permanent scar. Best of luck to both families.
