An Introduction and question

Eric Hanson (hanson@DRS.COM)

This is a combination introduction and question. First the introduction.

My name is Eric Hanson. I was active in scouts as a boy (mid 50's to early
60's - Eagle Class of 59). A became as assistant Webelos leader with my son
4 years ago, and have, for the last two years, been active on the committee
with Troop 440 in Monroe New York. We have an active Troop of about 30 boys
that enjoys, among other things, backpacking. We have been taking 2 short
trips on the AT in SE New York plus a longer trip into the High Peaks region
up state each year. Last year's High Peaks trip had to be divided into 2
groups to keep the group size smaller and to allow the older boys to take a
more challenging rout.

Now the question. Our troop has decided that they would like to go to
Cooperstown NY to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame. My question is, does
anyone have any suggestions of where to stay in the area and any other
activities that we should consider including in our trip.

thanks in advance
YIS
