85 Years Of Scouting

This is a request for help in celebrating 85 years of Scouting in the City of
Exeter in the United Kingdom.

This year marks 85 continuous years of My district in Scouting and we are
seeking contact with Scouts in other parts of the world who live in settlements
named the same as our City and its suburbs principally :
EXETER TOPSHAM ALPHINGTON HEAVITREE and PINHOE

What we are hoping to do is produce a booklet on the History of Exeter District
but include in it short pieces on the Scouting experience in the other Exeter's
etc and any other information that can be provided to us.

The help I need from people on this list is that if they know the addresses or
contacts for such Scouts in their State or Country whether they would be kind
enough to send them to me so that I can contact them.

Our districts age is based on a Leaders Warrant for my Home Troop (1st Topsham)
that is dated August 1909 and is personally signed by Baden-Powell (but it is
fair to assume that Scouting in Exeter started therefore slightly before this)

Thank you for reading this and I hope that at least someone may be able to help
us
