Dear All,
It is interesting the number of comments that I have received re the
above. One was from a Leader totally ignorant of the whole process!
One from a Leader who did not receive either National or Branch
Accreditation, has instructing/assessed in the area for 20 years, has
instructed/assessed most of those in his Region who did receive
Accreditation and is Secretary of the Regional Speleo Society (was
President). A few philosophical arguments re Scouting and
bureaucracy, ownership of knowledge etc.
Lets not forget what Scouting is about and why we (Leaders) are
there.
