Hi,
In March, 1997 I discovered that Leaders in NSW had been asked to
apply for accreditation as Instructors/Assessors under a National
Scheme. Applications closed at the end of October, 1996. Obviously
too late for me to apply. I have been advised at Branch Level:
"tough". I have appealed, but based upon the documentation my
chances of success are zero.
Are there other Leaders out there in a similar situation?
Regards,
David
This, obviously concerned me. Due to no fault of my own, I have not
been allowed to seek accreditation under "grandfather" clauses.
Given my interest, experience and courses undetaken, I would have
expected accreditation without much difficulty.
I am a Coordinator for a ZVC and during this period having been
pushing for higher Expedition Standards, more challenging areas for
Expeditions etc. As other Leaders within the ZVC have been
accredited, my position has become untenable
