Yes, I could have chosen a date in late spring, but really the
temperatures in mid February are only about -10 degrees celcius. Rather
warm actually.
I think the worst part is that my Winter Camping Training Course,
orginally scheduled for January has now been moved to the first weekend
in March. That is the outdoor, 28 hours, survivial portion of the course.
I _will_ be wearing my wool toque! That change only occurred in the
previous week.
