Susan:

As a DE with Explorer units in my district, I'd like to ask a couple
questions.
What kind of Roundtable have you had for Exploring? Or did you attend
a Scout Roundtable in your "old" district because it covered items of
interest to you? If so, what kinds of things were of interest?
As you probably know, current BSA thinking does not extend the
"Roundtable Concept" to Exploring, except through the 'Quarterly Advisors
Meetings'. Are you thinking that those meetings are too infrequent? Or
that they don't (can't??) cover the bandwidth of interests covered by the
many Posts included in the district, whether that is a general district
such as mine or an Exploring district?
I'm also interested in your training experience and why it was so bad.

As a former EA myself (and husband of a former EA), and a DE who wants to
serve his Exploring units, I can tell you that there are some real
difficulties with covering that bandwidth issue. I'd like some
suggestions by those who've seen these issues addressed, or maybe some
thoughts about what the "ideal" situation would be.
