Hi Barbara!
My name is Dave Chapman, I am the Quivira Council Service Team Chairman
in Wichita, KS. I have also been the advisor for Explorer Post 692 (High
Adventure) in Derby, KS ( a little bit South of Wichita). We have had
bone chilling cold here also. But our council explorer posts (high
adventure anyway) usually participate in what our council calls
"Trapper's Rendevous ". It is a cold weather experience! Brrrrr
It's a lot of fun especially if it snows. In fact they are holding it
this weekend! I am in the process of putting as many posts as possible
on Juno free Email, with the hope that post leaders and members can
communicate with like units as far as the electrons will go. Nice to
see another high adventure post on the net! My address is
"davechapman@juno.com". Have a nice day!
Dave Chapman
