forward to anyone interested in Sea Scouting/Sea Exploring, or to any
other relevant lists:
The Sea Exploring Web Site Development Team is
pleased to announce the availability of Seascout-Net. Seascout-Net
is an informal discussion group for Sea Exploring and Sea Scouting
units (and their individual members) worldwide. There are no
restrictions and everyone is welcome, though the group will be of
primary interest to Sea Explorer-age and Sea Scout-age young
people and their Skipper's/leaders. You may also wish to read the
Seascout-Net welcome message at
http://www.rt.scouter.com/seascout-net/welcome.html sent to new
members. You may also wish to visit the Sea Exploring Home Page at
http://www.sea.scouter.com
The Seascout-Net list processor is located in Kansas City, Kansas, on
a computer of The Scouter's Journal Network. The list owner is Bruce
Johnson, Skipper of Sea Explorer Ship Columbia Ranger, Columbia,
Maryland.
How to Access
Via the Web
Seascout-net messages are added to an on-line archive as they are
distributed. They can be searched and/or viewed by any web user.
By Email as a Member
Anyone can subscribe and become a member of Seascout-Net. Simply send
a message to listproc@scouter.com with any subject line and in the
message place:
subscribe seascout-net Your Name
Substituting your actual name for 'Your Name'. You will be sent a
confirmation welcome mesage with more details. Please note that only
subscribed members can post to the list.
