I suppose an introduction is in order.

In my youth I was a member of a career-awareness post in eastern Kentucky.
Most of the guys in the post were also leaders in their troops, so we were
not very active.

I am now an assistant scoutmaster and have no ties to the explorer program.
I joined this list because I hope to start a Sea Explorer post within the
next two to three years. Since I don't have much experience I want to
learn all that I can.
